Chef Alan Wong prepares ozoni, a traditional Japanese soup served on New Year’s for good luck, featuring ChefZone ingredients. The mochi in the soup stretches, which symbolizes long life. 

Chef Alan’s own take on the soup features: dashi, mochi, aburage (fried tofu), mizuna, gobo (burdock root), carrots, kamaboko, Arctic surf clams, Lum Kum Kee abalone and kalua pig. All of which can be found at ChefZone for New Year’s.
