Return Policy

ChefZone is a Division of Y. Hata & Co., Limited. All terms, conditions, collateral, and guarantees that appear on this business account’s credit application (if applicable) also apply to every transaction.

By signing your receipt, you acknowledge that you are an authorized purchaser on the business account used, as well as understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained on this document.

ChefZone must approve all returned goods. All returned goods must be accompanied by the original receipt.

    1. All returned goods will be inspected by ChefZone personnel to ensure they are in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. Any products not meeting these standards will be rejected. Customers will be notified of such rejection.
    2. The U.S Government requires ChefZone and all food suppliers to conform to its food safety modernization act (FSMA) regulations. It is of utmost importance that all dairy, fresh, chill, or frozen beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry, and seafood must be inspected upon purchase. ChefZone personnel will not be allowed to accept any product listed line paragraph II once they have been removed from the stores as ChefZone cannot attest to where and how the products were stored and handled by the customer.
    3. Claims of damaged or spoiled goods must be made within 48 hours of the time of purchase.
    4. Claims from all other returned goods, not subject to paragraph II and III, must be made within 14 days of the date of purchase.
