Marc Anthony Freiberg was the Executive Chef at Neiman Marcus at Ala Moana for the past 10 years, featuring the Mariposa restaurant. He was also a featured chef in the 2015 and 2016 Hawaii Food & Wine Festivals, alongside Roy Yamaguchi, Alan Wong, and other celebrity chefs. Freiberg has traveled the world gaining knowledge and experience, which he believes is key to a successful chef. He had the great opportunity to train in Milan, Italy where he enjoyed the simple philosophy of seasonal cooking using local ingredients. He is always challenged himself to cook healthily, and now more than ever. Staying ahead of the curve, he is utilizing his talent to create heart healthy meals that would benefit anyone.
In March of 2017, Chef Marc launched Green Apron HI, a catering service specializing in plant-based meal delivery. He understands the importance of healthy eating and how valuable everybody’s time is. Chef Marc is looking forward to contributing to a healthier and tastier Hawaii!
