Onolicious Kitchen with Chef Alan Wong
Join renowned Chef Alan Wong, a founder of Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine, for a cooking seminar and dinner where he prepares dishes while teaching attendees how to incorporate key ingredients into delectable dishes from around the world using ChefZone products.
This intimate setting allows attendees to converse, share stories that connect food, travel and culture, and learn Chef Alan’s way of cooking without a recipe to better understand the fusion of flavor profiles.
Chef Alan will use a variety of Mauka Meats cuts including tenderloin, ground and rib-rack to prepare dishes demonstrating the versatility and quality of Molokai venison. Although there are no recipes, guests will be able to ask questions and take pointers from Chef Alan throughout the dinner so they may prepare the dishes at home.
Micah Richards of Mauka Meats will be in attendance to raise awareness of the invasive axis deer on Molokai. He will also be available for questions about the process and handling of venison to ensure its quality is preserved from field to table.
The folks at kakaakowine.com will select wines for the meal and be available to discuss the pairings with Chef Alanʻs dishes.
