Introducing locally grown and sustainably grown leafy greens from Kunia Country Farms!
Treat your guests to fresh, tasty, and beautiful heads of lettuce and salad mixes grown right here on Oahu. Kunia Country Farms utilizes the latest in aquaponic farming technology, dramatically reducing water and energy use compared to traditional farming. The farm relies on rain catchment for water refills, solar for energy, and coconut husk instead of soil, allowing the production of delicious greens with no net water, no net power, and no net soil, with zero impact on the environment.
Kunia Country Farms operates on 100,000 gallons of recirculating water, experiencing minimal evaporation, and requiring little to no added water annually.
Kunia Country Farms is guided by three principles:
Grow food locally
Grow food sustainably
Reduce Hawaii's food prices
- Give your customers a true farm to table experience while supporting the sustainability of Hawaii’s economy.
- Healthy, locally grown greens. Kunia Country Farm’s growing and harvesting process produces a fresh and less bitter product.
- Unique growing and processing methods bring you great tasting lettuce with a longer shelf life compared to imported greens.
- Ensure your guests that their food has been grown using zero impact farming which means farming with the smallest possible impact on the environment.
