Honolulul Meat Co. is working hard toward the goal of making Hawaii’s food sources sustainable and secure by raising more cattle locally. We support over 60 locally owned family run Hawaii based cattle ranches in raising beef that is 100% grass fed, antibiotic free and hormone free.
Honolulu Meat Co. owns and operates Hawaii’s 2 largest abattoirs, one in Paauilo on the Big Island and the other in Kapolei on Oahu, providing jobs for our communities.
Our ranching process produces high quality beef that is:
Lower in total fat content
Contains more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids
Contains more omega-6 fatty acids (linolenic acid)
Contains more antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamin E
