Onolicious Kitchen with Chef Alan Wong: Comforting Dishes

Onolicious Kitchen with Chef Alan Wong

Join renowned Chef Alan Wong, a founder of Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine, for a cooking seminar where he demonstrates and prepares a variety of dishes. Chef Wong takes a unique approach to cooking and teaching through his story telling of experiences, travel and food.

Attendees will be able to ask Chef Alan questions, while enjoying dishes he prepares accompanied by wine from sommelier Dan Fullick of Kaka‘ako Wine.

For this first class, Chef Alan will do his take on chicken and sausage gumbo and a vegan cream pasta sauce using his version of cashew milk, topped with shrimp and cheese.

He will demonstrate the flavor fundamentals to build on different flavors and inspire your inner chef, so you can learn to cook without a recipe.

“Simple comfort foods always make for the best weeknight dinners,” Chef Alan says.

Join us for the first seminar of the new series with Chef Alan! Attendees are invited to arrive early for a welcome drink and charcuterie in The Inspired Chef at ChefZone.
