Belgian Beef Stew

Being half Belgian, I was lucky enough to enjoy this Beer braised beef stew (cooked by my grandmother in Leuven Belgium) simmered with mustard basted baguettes as their secret ingredient. I am Happy to share it with you.

Ewa Summer Corn Chowder with Smoked Salmon Flakes

Ewa Sweet Corn Chowder

This is a creamy chowder made with lots of local sweet corn. The secret is blending half of the corn kernels with some chicken broth to really bring out that summer corn flavor. Garnished with some smoked salmon flakes to add smokiness so we can leave out the bacon to keep just a bit healthier.

Microwave on high for 1.5 minute or heat in the sealed bag, in a pot of simmering water for 8-10 minutes. Or pour contents into a soup pot and heat over low heat for 10 minutes to desired temperature.
